Bike thefts in London are ridiculous. In a space of a year my friend has had stolen two bikes and one wheel. Having to constantly worry about whether or not your bike will be there at the end of the day is not fun.
In the end my friend just decided to look for a used bike for sale. It meant he did not have to spend a lot on the bike and then if something did happen to it, it was not a huge loss in money.
He managed to find quite a lot of used bike for sale which were in good condition and had a reasonable price. Also, by not having a supersonic, flashy bike he was not advertising it to thieves. A much more sensible idea!

Benefits. A very touchy subject at the moment. This week figures emerged claiming 1.5 million adults have never done a days work in their life.
Wow, that is staggering. It has to be said that not every one of those 1.5 million adults can work, many have disabilities and can’t and many others want to work but just can’t find a job. The rest are the ones who believe they shouldn’t have to work. They are the ones able to claim benefits and live a comfortable life.
I just can’t imagine not wanting to work. You go to school to gain qualifications to work. It is a natural process surely? I understand some mess up their exams and don’t gain enough qualifications but there are options for that now. People can go back into education easily and study to get where they want to. I know not everyone has a great start in life, but the benefits should go to them who need the help to find a job, not to the people who claim £60,000 from the taxpayer for no reason what so ever.
